Lucky-15
Re: Newmarket July Meeting Weds 8th July Just read an article on it in the times online! Looks like another one could bite the dust with their track record this season!!!
Irishbugger
Re: Newmarket July Meeting Weds 8th July Beauchamp Xerxes favourite for the next @ Newmarket, I'm interested in the support for Butler's other horse, Tinaar. Surely Eddie Ahern would have had the choice, having ridden the fav in it's first 2 outings, he's chosen the outsider being gambled on? Interesting. I like strange things so I'll have a go each way. Verisimilitude
Re: Newmarket July Meeting Weds 8th July MASTERSHIP 5.30 Newmarket. 0.5 points each way. Not been running up to best, but has dropped to a nice mark (87) on best form, and the trip and ground are suitable this afternoon. The pace of the race should be suitable for him and therefore 'if' he can get things go his way, then show his true ability, he should be able to go very well at a big price. bowles10
Re: Newmarket July Meeting Weds 8th July according to SIS this evening the ground is GOOD,which as it stands whould deter me from backing RV.maybe JG is unsure to this fillys trip, but IMHO 8f on good-good/firm will find this filly out for pace/turn of foot in g1. it will be interesting should the word SOFT enter the going description, then this will inconvenience most of her opponents and greatly assist RV! will wait and see to see how the ground is. yep i had to post last night & expected that part of the country had the rain also which would have got into the ground surely. Even looked at the weather map last night but perhaps it missed the track or wasnt as severe as what hit the south east. saw the race & Goldikova won it well, RV didnt pick up when asked & although a close 4th wasnt good enough AGAIN! Unltra-procotious, well forward compared to ours, and been on the go for some time at home. She peaked at Ascot, out 2yo's have later dates in mind. Irishbugger
Re: Newmarket July Meeting Weds 8th July Goldolphin and Frankie made me fall in love with this sport, not sure if that means I love or hate them, but I'll back it first time out next season all the same :)
