Lay betting help?

Hi all. Im new to lay betting. But from what I have read I was under the impression that you could lay a bet against a horse winning and then if it didnt win you would win. BUT i put this on at BetFair: Wolverhampton 5.30:

When i check the results on williamhill i saw this:

So from what I see.. both the horses lost. So how come I lost my money aswell?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Adam
