artbrut
There will be two systems running. System A involves betting UNDER on home teams who's total corners in their home matches (both teams) were on average under 10 corners per game. I have chosen 10 corners as 11 is the starting line for most games and it gives some leeway. I may keep an eye on under 11 average also. System B is the opposite. Home teams who's home games (both teams) average is OVER 12 will be selected. On occasion the corner line will be under/over 12 and under/over 10. When this happens the selections become a no bet. Unless its advantageous for it to be so. e.g. if a selection in system A's market becomes under/over 12. I am also avoiding promoted/relegated sides for the time being. I will assess them once 40% of the season has been played in each leagues respectively. This is most definitely a paper trial system and I will not be putting any money on it. Staking Plan. Starting bank of 100pts for each system. 2% of bank for each selection. Here are the teams who's home games qualify (English leagues for now) System A Premiership Liverpool (9.6) Man City(10.1 Not Included) Man United (9.9) Wigan (9.9) Championship Bristol City (9.5) Coventry (9.7) League 1 Huddersfield (9.9) Swindon (9.8) Tranmere (9.9) There are a couple of teams who are close to the line and will be monitored for now and not included. Leeds (10.1) Oldham (10.2) League 2 Bradford (10) Brentford (9.9) Bury (9.9) Darlington (9.5) Notts County (9.8) Shrewsbury (10.0) Wycombe (9.8) System B Premiership Bolton (12.2) West Ham (12) Tottenham (11.7 Not Included) Championship Barnsley (13.1) Blackpool (13.1) Cardiff (11.8 Not Inc) QPR (12.1) Southampton (12.4) Watford(12.2) League 1 Carlisle (13) Cheltenham (12.6) Leyton orient (12.6) League 2 Dag & Red (12.2) Grimsby (12.6) Macclesfield (12.5) Morcambe (12.7) First Weeks Selections - System A (Bet365) Bank = 100pts Stake (2%) = 2pts Premiership Liverpool - Evens (under 11) Man United - 10/11 (Under 12) Championship Bristol - Evens League 1 Huddersfield - 10/11 Oldham* - Evens League 2 Bradford - 11/10 Notts County - 11/10 Shrewsbury - 10/11 Wycombe - 5/6 System B - First week selections Prem Bolton - 5/6 Championship Cardiff* - Evens QPR - 4/5 Southampton - 5/6 League 1 Carlilse - 5/6 Cheltenham - VOID (Over 12 line) Leyton orient - 5/6 League 2 Dag & Red - 5/6 Morcambe - 5/6 * - Not inluded in system, purely for monitoring purposes. Smokin Joe
Re: Cornering The Market - Trial Nice thread. As a corner bettor I'll be following with interest. I find that I do much better in corner handicap markets than total corners markets (for whatever reason) so that might be another area for you to look at. artbrut
Re: Cornering The Market - Trial aye yeah, cheers. The under system has hit profit every week so far. It's also nice to see the over system finally get into profit. I'm glad the two void bets in system B were over 12 because both would have lost had it been over 11. I guess that's what that filter is for though! :)

If the market for selection is system A is under 10 it becomes a void bet as it is too low and vice versa with system B.

artbrut
Re: Cornering The Market - Trial I have finally input all my selections into a spreadsheet and my totals in this thread are slightly wrong. so here's the revised profit/loss and stakes for this weekend. System A Bank = 116.58 Profit/Loss +16.58 Current Stake = 2.33 System B Bank = 94.21 Profit/Loss = -5.79 Current Stake = 1.88 Also after 40% (15.2 games) of the season is played I am considering taking out non profitable teams and including teams who's stats for the current season fit into either one of the systems. Maybe i should wait until 60% of the season. Any thoughts would be welcome.
