A very competitive event is the 2.20 and i may regret deserting Night Crescendo who did me a big favor here lto out but the two i like are PREVENSEY who was 4th in that race and is a double CD winner here ground won't be a problem needs a bit of luck in running but 14/1 is a fair price. Young Mick will run his race but is getting expensive to follow and 4/1 is no value imo on the other hand the 50/1 on offer on GROUP CAPTAIN who is 2w 1p from 4 starts here and is much better than last run warrants and with Richard Hughes booked for the ride is an e/w bet at that big price. I have been watching out for GALLERY GIRL to run since its 3rd in a decent race at Leicester has been pulled out of a couple of races since should be around 16's today in the 4.40 and i think thats good value.

Re: Ascot ~Sat 11/10/08 1.45 I really believe that Fanshawe and Spencer should team up to land this Group 3 contest with Sir Gerry. I know he's the favourite and it is hardly an original selection but he has excellent course form, has placed in a Group 1 and won a group 2. Many of his rivals are handicappers stepping upto group class - such as Regal Parade, whilst Prime Defender hasn't won in his last 16...
