Going Stick Scale

Hi. Can anybody help? Does anybody know the scale for the going stick? I've lost my copy of the scale. I think it runs from 1 to 14? But I'm not sure what the exact scale is. I think 14 is firm? 1 is quicksand? But can anybody help with the scale in-between? Cheers in advance guys.

Re: Going Stick Scale I believe you are right about the scale being between 1-14, but I have also heard 1-15?? Apparently the scale is not solid. Therefore the going at one course could be different at another course with the same reading, due to soils etc. There doesnt seem to be extensive information about it kicking about though?
