They've taken my lay out, and so I'll go for my next best lay which is Dickie Le Davoir 8.15 Hamilton. 4/1 SP in the Racing Post is a bit short, so the 3.85 on Betfair as I type would appear a good value lay price. The weights suggest he needs to be at his best, so when seeing the cut in the ground's not ideal and the trip's shorter than ideal, then you can only lay him at the current odds. I feel the race will go by all too quickly for him, and although he'll give us a scare late on with staying on well, I just don't think he will trouble the eventual winner. Anyhow, that's what I think and if he does go and win, then fair play to him.
