Oskar
OK, Im not taking credit for this as its blatently stolen from another website but I found it usefull (and if u dont at least it gets the post count up) Most people playing poker regularly will know the long winded method of calculating hand odds, both before and after the flop. A quicker way is the following: Find the number of outs and multiply by 4. This will tell u a close percentage estimate of hitting your hand on the flop. If you want to find the percentage of hitting from the turn, simply multiply by 2. Example, using actual odds: Outs Flop% Turn% 4 17% 9% -- Gut Shot, 2 Pair -> Full House 5 20% 11% -- 1 Pair -> 2 pair/set, Gut+Backdoor 6 24% 13% -- 2 Overcard Draw, Op Straight 7 28% 15% -- Set -> Hull House
