Is this a good idea?

Rather than looking at every race on every card which is what I have been doing each day, and getting lost in stats and silks and causing numerous headaches which generally involves me turning off the laptop! So, for the last week I have been concentrating on 5f sprints, paper trialling, and I have had my 1st bet today (with a small profit). I am enjoying having a 'speciality' (albeit a very limited one at the mo) and think this is the way forward for me at this stage! Thoughts?

Re: Is this a good idea? I think once you are confident in your own ability it may pay to go through every race for a long time, making slections. Keep notes at which ones you are most sucessful with, I'm sure there are certain races you find you are better than other and stick to these This could take a while, and I have never done it, just think there may be some substance to it.......? i plan on doing it some time Thoughts on this method?
