Lay half time score

Hi there, Just new to the Punters Lounge forum, and loving all the ideas posted here:clap All your great ideas made me thinking of a simple system to try out; Laying half-time scores. Does anybody has some experience? A view small rules:

• Only Betfair in-play matches
• No laying 0-0 half time scores (after last weekend HSV, BM and Feyenoord :wall)
• 10 pts per laying per score
• System may be tweaked to optimize yield (will be posted)
• No real money, just on paper

I've started last Monday, played the mid-week matches and will post the first results tomorrow. If it holds over the weekend I will continue to post the results on this forum. Cheers :cheers Matt Change starting 17DEC2007 17:00 CET:

• All 0-0 HT scores will be backed @ €10,-
• The ALL MATCHES selection will be abandoned and I will continue with the NO 0-0 @ HT selection.
• 5% betfair fee correction on all bets made on 16DEC2007.
• Future gains will include a 5% betfair fee

Re: Lay half time score :welcome to PL and good luck with this - will follow with interest as this is one of about 716 different ideas bouncing round my head at the moment :lol just to make sure you are aware of our rule re: no after eventing - no probs in you showing that you had good results over the last week but any started thread should only count tips within the profit/loss that are posted prior to kick off (sure you knew that anyway :$) :ok

Re: Lay half time score :welcome to PL mate. Any reason to this or just a hunch? Any reason why not 0-0's? (Apart from the bad experience you had last weekend). I would say they could be pretty profitable, but I don't know for sure.

Re: Lay half time score Thanks guys! I will try to keep up with your posting average:) @ Alinado I know, I will only post the results of last week in-play matches. However, a the system lays the half time score, for prices matched in-play this could give some trouble with the rules. I'll try to update everything before the second half kicks-off. Otherwise I will stick to the results only. Lets figure this out over the weekend. @ Hodgey Well it started with a hunch. 0-0 matches are dreadful to watch :lol and are 0-0 at half time by definition. If good teams struggle themselves and the score is 0-0 by half-time it is usually not getting any better during the rest of the match. In stead of laying the score you should :spank the strikers! No science though. On the other hand 0-0 half time scores do give reasonable odds to lay (
