Coeur D'Alene at Ludlow, 3:20. Yet to win in over 20 starts, a workmanlike horse with a few placings but not anywhere near up to Lusaka De Pembo and will not beat Cassia Heights at this distance and going. RP forecast at 11/2, currently on Betfair at 5/1. Be warned - when I name the horses to beat my lay they always end up well down the field (which is why I'm not tipping winners) !

Re: Lay of the Day - Thursday 18th October Chant De Guerre 3.30 Brighton. Consistent enough, and has the bare form to get involved in the finish, but when you see that Jimmy Quinn has ridden him when he last won (twice), and he's not riding him in favour of 'Four Miracles', you have to feel a bit disheartened by that! Has several other dangers too in what would be a trappy race and at the price of around 5.0 as I type, it would look more a lay than a play, irrespective of the end result.
