Re: Tuesday NAPS - 02/10/07 Mistress Eva 4.10 Warwick (WIN NAP) Won on its debut in a 7f contest at Folkestone. Connections were going to pull it out of the race due to the heavy ground but it managed to win on that ground. Ran green for a long way but then picked up nicely and just got up by a neck. Goes over the same trip today, expected to improve, should handle the different ground and will have come on for that run. Expected SP is 12-1 according to Racing Post, I can't see it being that big and it's definitely worth a bet. 3rd from that race has won since and analysis from RP after the race was interesting:

MISTRESS EVA somehow managed to find herself on the inside rail, where she ran very green for the majority of the contest, but the penny really dropped as she entered the final furlong and picked up strongly to run down Soggy Dollar. Winning connections were at odds as to whether they should withdraw the daughter of Diktat given they didn't feel she'd handle the ground on breeding, while she's a big, unfurnished filly and will have learnt a terrific amount from this. Bred to get a bit further, she's a guaranteed improver and looks a decent prospect.
