ghent_3rd Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 My idea is to perm the first 50 matches on the coupon in 1-1 doubles. There is 1,225 doubles. I am currently paper testing until the end of October I think and then will assess the situation to see whether it is worth pursuing. 1-1 typically returns at between 5-1 and 6-1. You need 9 1-1's a week to break even each week. This week there were 10 1-1's which is statiscally higher than average. About 12% of matches per season finish 1-1. From a £12.25 stake this week, 1p doubles, the return would have been £19.01. Like I said I don't know for definate if this is going to turn a profit over the season but it will only take 1 week of 15 1-1's or so and the returns would then be huge so we shall see. I am going to rule out all the matches where the faves are shorter than 8/13. This should eliminate some of the bankers and with 78 matches on the coupon this week I can rule out quite a large proportion. I am looking to avoid Scot Div. 3 though as that seems to be goal city at the moment!! Just sorting through the coupon now so :hope, another 64% profit to stake would be very welcome and take me one week closer to using this system for real. As a slight expansion on this I am going to select 20 matches from my 50 to double up at a cost of 190 pts and 10 to put into trebles at 120 pts.
