Re: Wolverhampton 03/09/07 Maccabeus 2.30 Wolverhampton Has raced 3 times and two of these have been in class 3 maidens. Some of the other horses have been contesting class 6 races so this might be interesting down in class. Also faded final furlong in 2 races over 6f so drop back to 5f is also of interest. Looks to have plenty of speed and will need it on its aw debut and jockey takes off 3lb and also rode it last time out. If he can get it more settled it has a chance at a decent price. Veiled Applause 4.00 Wolverhampton Very much a bridesmaid horse as it has five 2nds from its last 7 races. When it did win it was over 1m and had Seb Sanders on board and he takes the ride today. Trainer in form, has run consistently and been 2nd over 10f last two runs so drop to about 9f and Seb back on board give it a real chance. Has run here before over similar trip and was 4th of 13 and hampered.
