Starting at the peak

Hi from a newbie. Every time I test a system and see that it is viable, I find that it has peaked or is just about to peak. If I hang around for a fall in profits, it hangs around the peak waiting for my patience to fail. Sure enough, the moment I start, it turns into a Roller-Coaster from Hell. According to the Massey site, the best time to back the Flat fav is September. So now is the time to start.
