-JT-
Cant think of a name for this system/strategy and not even sure if this is the right home for it but I'll leave that for a mod to decide. The basic premise is I, before checking the odds for the weekends Premiership games, decide on a price that I would be willing to lay at. Has to be a realistic price that I feel someone may take. Not thinking about margins or any of that and not including the draw in all of this, it is purely as if someone had come up to me and asked me to be a bookmaker and to take a bet. These are the prices I would give them. If when looking at the real prices, they any are less than what I am "offering" then it is a selection and will be laid. Not a revolutionary technique I know but is a challenge for me and is something I have dabbled with here and there but putting it up here will make me do it every week. Onto the weekends games, prices I would offer in brackets: Arsenal (1.5) v Man.City (6.0) Villa (1.6) v Fulham (2.0) Bolton (2.0) v Reading (2.3) Chelsea (1.2) v Portsmouth (6.0) Derby (1.9) v Birmingham (3.5) Everton (1.7) v Blackburn (2.5) Sunderland (2.5) v Liverpool (1.8) Middlesboro (2.0) v Newcastle (2.2) Man.Utd (1.4) v Tottenham (6.0) Stingy arnt I?! So, looking at Betfairs odds there are only 2 that are a worse price than my odds, they are Birmingham and Liverpool. Birmingham can be laid at 3.05 and Liverpool can be laid at 1.67. Therefore my first 2 qualifiers are: Lay Liverpool against Sunderland Lay Birmingham against Derby Am going to queue for 1.66 for Liverpool and 3.0 for Birmingham. You will have to take my word for it the price I get matched at, I have no reason to lie. Am putting real money on this but only small. Each lay is risking £10. So if Sunderland win or draw I win £14 odd and if Derby win or draw I win £5. Doing this as don't want massive liabilities at this stage.
