Re: Carlisle 29th July Selections Bahamian Duke 4.10 As most of you probably know my dad owns a leg in this horse. We think he has a massive chance today the only worry is the draw. He is drawn 1 and draw bias points to high numbers. He ran about 3 months ago in a 6f race at Catterick and ran well on his reappearance, there has been nothing wrong with him just had to be really patient with regard to the soft ground as he likes it gd-fm. He wintered extremely well an we believe him to be at least 10lbs better this year and his rating of 64 is due to his 3rd place at Pontefract last year. The plan today is to bump him out make the running and hopefully get the trip of the stiff 6f. At a price of 14/1 with ladbrokes he is a big EW bet for me and hope the apprentice holds his nerve. :hope
