A few runners a picked out last night: 14.30 Lingfield - Maromito <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "isiresearchsoft-com/cwyw" />(WIN) 2.54 @ Betfair<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

has won C&D. In last race earlier this month it just knicked a win over 5f which it races here this afternoon. Takes a drop in class into a race without much competition. Has shown inconsistancy in the past, however if the horse feels like it today it'll win.

15.30 Lingfield - Khyberie (WIN) 2.6 @ Betfair

Similar to the 2.30, I can't find any opposition to the favourite. This horse won last time out over this distance and on this very course earlier this month. Takes a drop in class here, no problems with weight. Can't oppose and won't oppose.

16.00 Lingfield – Geordies Pool (E/W) 9.2 @ Betfair

Yet to record a win, but has looked fairly solid running on this type of ground in the past. Was third last time out in Kempton earlier this month on its first outing this year. Should be stronger this time around and could pick up a place. I also quite fancy it to win here in what looks quite a weak grade 5 race.

16.40 Lingfield – Time for Change (WIN) 4.3 @ Betfair

Was very poor last time out in <?xml:namespace prefix = st2 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Wolverhampton, weakening badly towards the end of the race. However, form in previous 3 races, 212, suggests this horse could, on its day, be a danger at this level. Good opportunity to get back on track in a winnable race.

16.40 Lingfield – Inquistress (E/W) 19.5 @ Betfair

Takes a drop in class this afternoon after failing to challenging the leaders in some tougher races. Should come out of the blocks quickly and can take a place if the horse digs in and finds a bit of strength towards the final 2 furlongs.

17.00 Lingfield – Ellens girl (E/W) 14 @Betfair

Has raced quite a lot this year and has performed quite inconsistently at this level. Threatened the leaders until the latter stages of the race last time out. I’m not particularly convinced by the favourites in the race and if the horse/jockey get things right on the day a place isn’t impossible.

17.00 Lingfield – Just Fly (E/W) 11.5 @ Betfair

Has won on this course before. Is used to performing over the longer distances, more specifically 2 miles. However, looked useful over the shorter ~mile distances in March/April. If the horse can get amongst it early on then I’d fancy it to hang on for a place.

Re: Lingfield 31/05/07 2.00 Lingfield Obstructive (ew) @ 11/4 B365 (BOG) Officially rated 74 and sets the standard for this maiden. Best effort to date is over the 6F trip like today and has proved that he can perform on the AW at Lingfield, unlike the other principals in the race.
