On the face of it loads of negatives are stacked against Miss Monza today: notably first time out over hurdles against a number of others with considerable jumping experience and stepping into unknown territory with the trip. Only raced on the flat in lowly maiden / handicap company at around 6 / 7 furlongs, one would expect her to struggle with today’s trip.

However, having said that there are a number of positives, notably the yard believe she will stay the trip given the work she has done at home and the fact that she has schooled like a natural. Combine this with the fact that this is essentially a weak race and you may be looking at a hugely over-priced animal. Current odds 66/1.

Reasoning	2:25 Exet The Castilian The win LTO should have the overall performance improve for future races. It was the first time for having AP McCoy for a jockey (now has 32 career starts). The 2nd place horse went on to run the next day and ended up winning. The trainer record at this track is good for winning 25% of 48 sent to this track. The Chasers performed muhc better with 5 winners from 13 starters. The Hurdlers is not all bad with 6 wins from 32. Making good races this year being 5.6.4.1 (out since 08Jun06 until sent out 22Feb07).

Reasoning	2:55 Exet Cloudland Showed up ready LTO when 2nd of 9 to much more experienced Hibernian. That loss was only by a neck and I expect it to be in simialr condition. Gets the same jockey from last time and this will be the 2nd time they are together. The price of this LTO opened at 3/1 and came home at 4/1 (3rd Fav to 9/4 & 11/8). The trainer have not been racing lately so I think this one has been handled to win while at home. Should be given a chance with current prices offered (11/2,7/1)
