GROUSEMOUNT 2.40 Towcester. ( Currently 8.2 Betfair ) A very interesting runner that's made the trip over from Ireland. Yet to hit the frame in 6 lifetime starts, so hardly been breathtaking, but certain bits of form read well in context with this race and therefore on his best form would have every chance. Done most of his running on heavy ground, which appears a bit strange as it wouldn't appear to be his ideal ground judging on his improved effort when racing on good ground, so with getting faster ground today, he should be able to show something like his best and that would give him leading claims. The trip would be slightly further than he's ever been, but on this faster ground it'll race like a few furlongs shorter on heavy and so he should be fine and at current odds of 8.2 ( betfair ) he does appear a value bet for this race. Another thing is that I'm sure connections wouldn't come over here just for the scenery, so that would be a positive too. Has a few to beat, but apart from them he looks to have the beating of others, so looks a good value e/w bet. Good luck.
