16.10 Taunton - Maljimar (nap) - RPF 7/2 Question marks against a number of the horses in this race. The form of his last two runs is working out well in the context of this race. Has plenty going for him at this level and can do one better for tomorrow. Richard Johnson on board. RPF 7/2.

Re: Taunton 30/01 3.40 Taunton - Needle Pick :hope - RPF 12/1 Jockey in red hot form -> two wins and two seconds in the last 4 outings for Dave England. Looking back at the form... 2 nice places in class 4 races and then a win in class 5 race in the autumn. Then step-up to 3m2f, which the horse obviously didn't like much. The first time was well beaten in 8th place, but I can forgive the ride just because Dave England wasn't on board. He came back on it and placed the horse in Hereford @ 33/1. Runs for the first time here in Taunton, but the weight allowence is what I like most.. 10-10 compared to 11-7 carrying on his latest outing. And last, but not least.. not only the jockey... the combination of D England and N A Twiston-Davies is what makes this bet a great e-w fancy for me. Two 2nd places and two wins in the last 5 days from jockey and trainer. 12/1 RPF :hope
