Further Banker Analysis

I decided to look at something last night... My hypothesis was and that over time, there should be a downward trend through the five levels of rating so that the Top Rated would perform the best and the 5th rated would perform the worst. Now, it is important to bear in mind that this is a relatively new thread and I have taken data from 1st November 2006 - 31st December 2006. The "League Table" has taken time to evolve and so you would expect some strange goings on in the early stages. What I found almost made me fall off my chair (that's how easily excited I get). Top Rated:- 18 winners from 30 bets (60% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. Profit of £46.40 in November. 11 winners from 29 bets (37.9% strike rate) £10 L.S. loss of -£84.20 in December. 29 winners from 59 bets (49.2% strike rate) £10 L.S. loss of -£37.80 overall. 2nd Rated:- 15 winners from 30 bets (50% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. profit of £9.80 in November. 15 winners from 28 bets (53.6% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£35.70 in December. 30 winners from 58 bets (51.7% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£25.90 overall. 3rd Rated:- 11 winners from 29 bets (37.9% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£96.10 in November. 13 winners from 26 bets (50% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. profit of £7.90 in December. 24 winners from 55 bets (52.7% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£88.20. 4th Rated:- 11 winners from 28 bets (39.3% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£9.80 in November. 11 winners from 22 bets (50% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£16.80 in December. 22 winners from 50 bets (44% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£26.60 overall. Now here's the crazy part! :wall 5th Rated:- 17 winners from 24 bets (70.8% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. profit of £145.90 in November. 10 winners from 21 bets (47.6% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. loss of -£40.50 in December. 27 winners from 45 bets (60% strike rate) and a £10 L.S. profit of £105.40 overall. The fifth rated have been mental. The first 10 bets (1st November - 11th November) were all winners and the bank more than doubled in those ten days alone since that amazing start is has had it's ups and downs but has remained steady. Having said that, I think Zulu's ratings are starting to kick in as the last 8 bets of December yielded just one winner ( the last 8 bets for the Top Rated have yielded four winners). What does all this prove? Well, it proves that I have wayyyy too much time on my hands and so do you for reading all this drivel! :rollin

Re: Further Banker Analysis Early on in November, I looked at running a top 3 instead of the top 5, and it was that 5th place trend that stopped me form suggesting it....
