Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Early thoughts, propable picks for tomorrow: Esbjerg - Aalborg 2,10 (Bet365) Aalborg holds great form, 5 straight victories, looking to continue climbing the table, first off recahing no 2 by beating Esbjerg. Esbjerg have 5 stratight wins aswell, but I think Aalborg are the stronger team and I think they will win, 2,10 looks tasty. Rögle - Leksand 2,55 (Bet365) Rögle with somewhat questionable form, injury problems and maybe not motivated enough to beat Leksand. Leksand in need of points to at least hold on to third place, they have been a punters nightmare this season, but now they look confident and have won 4/5 latest games. Björklöven, 1,70 (Ladbrokes) - Almtuna Björklöven very strong at home, Almtuna still missing some players and have been really week away. I dont think their last win away vs Rögle away was the start of a winning trend, I think it was a sign of Rögle taking it easy and suffering from players missing. Short write ups, but if I don´t discover any news that change my view tomorrow, theese will be my picks.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Comet looks really good tomorrow against Stjernen and I'm going to back them.There have been a small break in Norway so carefull with stakes but over 1.80 for Comet win looks generous for me.Comet won 7 out of 10 last games and they were even able to beat Valerenga away.Stjernen in crappy form with only 2 wins in last 10.More to that Stjernen is awfull away with only 3 wins so far and second worst away record.H2H is 3:1 in Comet's favour this season.They've won last two games against Stjernen and had awesome 12:0 goal difference in these two matches.So I'm with a home side here. :hope

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Those bets from allsvenskan looks good. I think Leksand have great chance of winning. They've lost defender Magnus Östery to Comet in Norway, but that's not an important player. Leksand have no injuries, but Rögle still has Kenny Jönsson out and Zachrisson is away playing U20 WC.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Yeah Comet with that odds looks superb bet, let me also add that i fancy Herning over Frederikshavn (1,30) for a combo and also in Mestis: Hokki to beat Jokipojat - looking at latest away results of Jokipojat, they lost last 6 away games, the last two with 2-8 and 0-7 and Hokki havent lost against them since 2004 (maybe longer but have no results), and at 1,50 this could also be used for somekind of combo.

Augsburg is worst away this season 4 wins and 12 defeats too less to beat the home strength Lions imo. Lions lost only versus Berlin in the last 3 homerounds. The other 2 meetings versus Hamburg Freezers and also Nuremberg are wins. Important points for the Playoffs. - Frankfurt Lions to win - over 5.5 goals

But i think little edge for Jukurit becouse they play in home. If look last 2 games: Jukurit had lost both. One reason is that they had tired. They played 5 games in 7 days. And such good team don`t lose 3 games in row, they must win it. Jukurit had full squad. Sport had problems after christmas break . Ville Varaka (2+6) and Pasi Kuusisto had hurt himself. Ville Varaka probably play but Pasi Kuusisto (1+5) for certain not play. Predication: Jukurit win 10/6 (odds 1.80) :hope :hope

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 I have not found any news that change my opinion about Aalborg, Leksand and Björklöven. I add: Nordsjaelland - Odense 2,10 Nordsjaelland have had problems since their goalie and Danish nationalteam goalie Hirsch left, 26 goals scored against in their last 5, they have also lost all those 5. Odense have lost their latest 3, but two of them was against formteam Aab and No1 Herning. Odense won this matchup 9-4 last time, and since that I think Nordsjalleand are an even weaker team. Odense a good awayteam with 5-2-5 31-39, making 2,10 a good odds in my mind.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Ilves - Tappara Ilves had not played so good that they hope. And now they had 11 in league, just 1 point behind in playoff place. They had many injures and now if team had get back full healthy, come up some other problems. If defenders Juha Alen and Toni Niemi is back in squad. Four other players had left. Offence players Perttu Lindgren(1+12 - last 5 games 0+5), Ville Korhonen(0+3) and Sami Sandell(2+4) are in junior WC and also Tuukka Rask is in WC who is first goali(some fans are said that he is half Ilves team :lol :lol :lol ). And they had very important players. Also one very import defence players plays tonight in Ilves squad, this is Jyrki Lumme. This player maybe will get team good spirit. But i don`t think that helps Ilves very much becouse Tappara ara better team and they played in full squad. After bad start (where they first 10 game record was 4 wins and 6 lose), they had finaly get form(last 10 - 8 wins : 2 lose) Predication: Tappara win 10/5 (1.90) :hope :hope

SaiPa: Rob Zepp(first goalie), Ville Hostikka(2-3 goali), Teemu Paakkarinen(0+0), Joonas Rönnberg(1+1,) and Pauli Levokari(1+1) miss this game TPS: Arttu Virta miss this game but team captain Mika Alatalo are back. I think so,but i don't have team info about inyuries.I know that,Pardubice won 3 game in a row and home are very good team,with lowest goals at home. Any info's?

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 28-31/12 Sweden Elitserien Linköping - Timrå Both teams in an interesting situation here since they dont have good form at all. Linköping played really well for some time especially at home and at one point they stood at 9 wins in 10 home games. They now stand at 9-4-3 at home which is still decent but their current form has been bad -in the last 15 games they have only got 12 pts out of 45. This is way too bad for a team which is good enough to win it all this year - strong roster as they have. It's been debated alot over their coach Gunnar Persson and many want him fired and the media havent been nice to him at all lately. The answer came in the last game which was away to HV71. They game was tied 3-3 after OT but Linköping played really well and was closest to the win here. The defensive was perhaps the best positive surprise here. Basically the game today and the upcoming games are must-wins for them and their coach if they want to go to the play-offs. Timrå is a team with even worse form than Linköping. The former leaders have now dropped down to 4th place. This is mainly because of the players they have on the injury list and they havent got any of them back on the team now. It was rumoured that Peter Nylander was going to be back in the last game but the word now is that he'll be back sometime after new year. Conclusion: In this game Linköping have the perfect chance of getting back on the right track and find their hallmark home strength again. Both teams have had many on the injury list and the difference is that Linköping have many on them back on the team which cant be said about Timrå. This will be very important here. If you live in Sweden I can recommend dashing down to your local to have a bet on LHC -1 @ 2.40 but as this is PL and most of you aren't Swedish I'll post the straight win here.
