That was the year that was...MC in 2006

January was a sad time for me as I was yet to discover PL February I was enticed into to PL by two lovely ladies Pene and DAN DAN Starting playing MTT's for the 1st time and with the help of PL my game started to improve :ok Won a trip to the champions league final in Paris. It was my first time meeting PLer's as Washman, Bdaveg and Fenners had also won through. Fenners and I pulled a couple of crackers the night before in London We managed to recruit some new PL members - Dave 488888888888888888, Manbag and Burnley Joe (yes sorry that was me :spank) What was the score Bri? I dunno Fen but have you seen her behind us? We then meet up after the game with two more Pler's 6ooner and Milou, it all got a bit messy after this :cheers Paris was a quality trip with a bunch of great people whom have now become good mates. Ian Frazer and his brother Al Capone were also on the trip and although they couldn't play poker they were a great laugh and they made the week :ok Then courtesy of the nicest guy on the forum - Richard 'wishy washy' Washman (and a deal struck in paris :loon), I'm off to Ibiza :nana Wahahay Cant actually remember too much about this trip, I actually ended in bed for 3 days after I got back with alcohol poisoning :puke. One of the funniest moments was when Ian Frazer was sat on the jetty, he go up to walk to the beach, lost his balance bladdered, fell off but landed in a boat :rollin for laughing too much I couln't get my camera out but caught the end of it when the owner of the boat came over and told him to get out :rollin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQteEpzRX3Q The episode on the plane coming back with Floduk (whats happened to him) will stay with me for the rest of my life :rollin:rollin and then Washman at Gatwick Airport it was like beeing in a script for only fools and horses - only funnier!!. A great time just wish I could remember more. Starting playing live for the fist time this year, with some success. I came 2nd in the Brum meet but by the time I got heads up I was that pissed I couldn't see my cards and Jones1234567891011121314151617181920 had been drinking redbull all night. Also won two other PL live events. Also starting going to the casino with Mr and Mrs Pocketlady :ok:ok big thanks to them for bringing me latte's all night :D. I believe the Sunday comp is now at 5pm we should try that a few times next year and get a few more Pler's there. Started to win more and more online MTT's with some good cash prizes as well. Turned 40 this year had a great time in Amsterdam :dude Also went to vegas for the first time and loved it, I went with the intention of playing as much poker as possible and I did, all day every day. Had great success, played about 10 tournies only missing the final table twice and getting a few nice cashes:ok Which pleased morls The highlight of the trip was when Uber and myself went to play in a sat at the bellagio. Just being there, next to Barry's Room, seeing a few faces, playing some good poker in good company for me was what it is all about :nana I've rounded off the year nicely by winning my trip to the ashes in OZ, I'm off tomorrow and cant wait. Resolutions for 2007:- Play more live poker Try my hardest to free up enough time to go and play in the WSOP Take GaF for a few beers, casino and onto spearmint rhino's :notworthy Overall its been a good year and I have met some great people, I probably will not be online now until the new year (thats if I survive jeffers in OZ). So wishing each and everyone one of you all the best and I hope its a good one and santa brings you everything you want :ok
