Davis Cup Final - Olympic Stadium, Moscow (01 December - 03 December)

Finally got my internet back...perfect timing...... Russia are undefeated at home in the Davis Cup since 1995 (11 matches) and are big favourites the medium/fast indoor court at Moscow's Olympic arena against Argentina. The Argentinian coach Mancini say that they would prefer playing at clay but he thinks he's players are adapting well. Nikolay Davydenko - Juan Ignacio Chela Chela leads the H2H 5-0 but IMO that's history at the moment. Davydenko is in form, its the Davis Cup final and Davydenko is 18-4 in Russia since 2003. No doubt that Davydenko will win this, but the price is simply too small for a bet. Marat Safin - David Nalbandian This one is much more intresting, if Safin wins this match the final will probably all over. Marat Safin always plays some good tennis when it comes to DC, specially at home in Russia. He went all the way to the finals earlier this year in the Kreml Cup where he was beaten by Davydenko. (Kreml Cup is also played at the Olympic Stadium) Safin leads the H2H 6-2 and one of the losses was due to injury I think and the second was earlier this year at the Madrids Masters, but then Safin looked simply too tired after he had been playing tennis non-stop for four or five weeks. If Safin is at top and motivated he should do the job and win this match. Specially at this surface & specially after Nalbandian got trashed by Chela in training Marat Safin - 1.83 @ Betfred 8/10
