LilEagle Posted October 27, 2006 Share Posted October 27, 2006 St. Louis Cardinals vs Detroit Tigers St. Louis Cardinals leads 3-1 Pitching for St. Louis Cardinals is Weaver (2-2, 2.91 ERA) / (8-14, 5.76 regular season) Pitching for Detroit Tigers is Verlander (1-1, 7.47) / (17-9, 3.63 regular season) Weaver has been good all games post season with 2.91 ERA while rookie Verlander allowed 6 runs vs St Louis in Game 1 of the World Series. He must do much better as it's a must win situation for the Tigers and I think we will. He's sure capable of it.
