Dodger
******************************************************* Win A Year Of Free Poker The 2006 World Cup is upon us, and to celebrate William Hill is giving away over £50,000, including the chance to play poker free for a year. Our World Cup Poker League is a series of tournaments running on all major match days - each tournament will give you the chance to win league points. At the end of the World Cup, the player with the most league points will win £1,000 cash every month for a year, plus free entry in super-satellites for the WSOP, the Caribbean Poker Classic, the William Hill Grand Prix and another series. League Details The list of Poker League tournaments can be seen here. Each tournament will have a guaranteed prize pool between £1,500 and £2,500. Buy-ins will cost between 50 and 150 My Poker Points (MPPs) - effectively free for you to enter. Cash payout structures are based on our standard tournament payouts. Poker league points will be awarded based on your finishing position in each tournament. The Points Payout Structure has been designed to reward winners, but keep the league exciting until the final day, with double points for semi-final days and treble on World Cup final day. At the end of the Poker League, the top 200 players will receive prizes, ***************************************************** Looks attractive to me. I currently have 100 or so points, but the entry MPPs are pretty easy to get, so they end up basically as freerolls. If any other PLers are entering, then maybe you could use this thread to post your own results.

GaF
Re: William Hill League If anyone is chasing their MPP's for this, just a reminder..... A £0.25/£0.50 table earns the same MPP's as a $0.25/$0.50 table which earns the same as a €0.25/€0.50 table - so you are best off playing at the limits you are comfortable with in NON STERLING DENOMINATIONS!!!! Can't quite get my head around at the moment whether USD or EUR is better, but I THINK it is the USD!!!

Dodger
Re: William Hill League Well, the table is up for the first game and they have only given single points, where it should have been double. Wonder how many emails they'll get from the top 200 players?

Dodger
Re: William Hill League Just a quick note to say that registration for each game starts 24 hours earlier...as the last one filled up by start time there may be more of a rush to enter this time, so don't leave it too late to enter.
