Win: 1:40 | Sedge | Atlantic Jane (10.00 pts) 2:00 | Chelt | Natal (5.00 pts) 5:30 | Sedge | Ovide (5.00 pts) - Atlantic Jane Was very good last time out on a tougher looking race defeating the odds-on favorite by 6 lengths. That was on a longer trip but its previous race which was the same distance for today resulted in a win. Today’s jockey was able to put in a good run in two of its last three. The trainer have had some good runners on soft and some heavier grounds. Atlantic may not have too much experience on the going but it’s ran very well in its last two plus the trainers performance on this type recently are good possibilities for three wins in a row. Natal This could be the surprise of the day, if it wins. Natals trainer has two runners here. The other one has performed better than Natal but it was thanks to the rider on Natal today. Natal needs to be ridden well and I believe it has a very good chance here. It’s with the jockey from its debut when it won. Raced here once but had a poor finish of 5th out of 10 with a headway 3 out being its best effort then weakened after that. If Natal’s jockey can give Noland its winners in its last two Class 1 races and 3 of the last 4 it can give Natal a good performance when this is over. Ovide Very good effort on its debut in late January finishing 2nd to Alfie Flits (3 wins in 3 race) by 6 lengths. The 2nd was very good and likely to be hard to defeat here. The last NH Flat race from Ovide’s trainer was a winner in March 9th. It won very well, by two lengths and I expect Ovide to improve from its last and win today.
