Just a thought.........with new poker players ( and some experienced but too embarrassed to admit it ) joining us, we could help them out by having a thread that explains what some of the slang used is. For example.... I had to ask about +ev and - ev the other day. Still don't know what it means but at least someone was kind enough to explain it to me while i looked blankly. So.......lets have definitions for the newbies and ignorant old hands. under the gun big and small blind on the button motown ( j5 ) anna kornikova ( a k....looks good wins nothing! ) fish you get the drift... i won't offer my own definitions as they might be wrong!! danno....friend of the novice

Re: poker terminology Good idea, Danno... Even though I'm no longer a Newbie, but climbed up as Juniorpunter :ok , I still get confused sometimes. Right now I'm just a little blank for examples...
