Spinning footballs?

I don't have the spinning footballs anymore (those under our names), instead I get blank squares. Anyone else experiencing this? If I click "back" and then "forward" in my browser, I get them. In addition to that, I don't see pictures either, just red "x"s. It's the same with the "New post" and "Add reply" thingies, I have red "x"s in front of them too. It's been like this for a few days. I would really like the spinning footballs back (without having to click "back" and "forward" on every single topic I read), any suggestions?
