Horses to place accumulated

Something I've tried in the lounge in the past. Backing horses to place and attempting to hit 'however many' in a row, rolling stake and profit each time. Similar to my 0-0 system. I don't like going under odds of 1.5 on Betfair. Six succesful bets will produce a 5-1 return, eight will produce nearer 24-1!! In the past it's always been MY decision on the selection method. I have tried to come up with a method of selection that requires no thought or influence from me!! Here goes: Each day jot down the most tipped horses from the racing post. Rank them in order of most tipped and write down the odds of the horse to place. NO BET if less than 8 runners, NO BET if less than 1.5 to place. If a horse shares an equal number of tipsters, use the last race form to determine the selection (1st place last time out will be selected ahead of 2nd last time etc), failing that go by the least number of runners. Move down the list until you have a selection. eg Saturday: 12.45 newcastle REBEL RHYTHM (10 tips) 1.17 - NO BET price to short 3:35 haydock HOH VISS (8 tips) 1.44 - NO BET price to short 2.40 windsor KARANJA (8 tips) 1.32 - NO BET price to short 2.35 haydock JAZZ D'ESTRUVAL (7) 1.80 - possible bet 3.20 windsor OSO MAGIC (7) 1.82 - possible bet The selection will come from the last 2 horses. OSO MAGIC fell last time so the selection is Jazz D'EStruval to place because he finished 3rd last time. I will check the prices of the horses recieving 8 tips prior to 12.00 tomorrow to confirm the selection. (if Hoh Viss drifts to 1.5 this will be the selection as it has MORE tips) Confused? All will become clear. Starting stake 10pts. Bank 100pts
