Sharpe1ne
I was a member of their SportsBook and was one of the first to register when they launched their Poker section.Back then there were no tourney games just cash games and i used to make shedloads of cash. Then they launched the tourneys and offered $1500 Freerolls each night for the first few weeks, with only 30 entrants(prize fund was top 5) i used to clean up winning or finishing in the cash every night. But as it's caught on and more and more forums recommend these freerolls(which I totally accept) the fun seems to be going out of it(Bar the Dollar Up). So when did you join sporting odds and who recommended it to you.(so you could steal all my winnings:lol )
The Quiet Man
Re: When did you join Sporting Odds? Sharpe1ne, I joined around 4 or 5 months ago - I thinks GAF and Laidback pointed out the easy bonus. Sure enough, I deposited $10 around July or August and haven't paid a penny into any other account since. :clap I will also bet on anything (golf and football are my favs tho) and I do all my betting through the Sporting Odds Site which is handy as it means I haven't been in the bookies for months either. If I buy anything on-line I also withdraw the amount out of my SO account to cover it and the current balance still looks quite healthy. :dude I still enjoy playing poker on this site too despite terrible connection problems for a couple of weeks, which may or may not have been caused by my broadband. :wall P.S - I do have a particular liking for the Dollar Up - not sure if anyone else has noticed that. ;)
Mr Bubbles
Re: When did you join Sporting Odds? Joined just after the start of the year, and only joined with them because I had sports betting account with them. What got me started properly on the poker was the freerolls at stanjames sponsered by the contenders tv programme. Although I never made the play of final for them I did finish 3rd and was hooked. Your right as well with the sportsbook there are cracking bets in some of the specials markets(used to clean up with any sending off in a live match at 4-1 but now its down to 3's or less) best ever one i got was any booking in the first 10 mins of Man United v Arsenal last year at 8-1:loon 8 mins gone and lauren pays me out:ok
slapdash
Re: When did you join Sporting Odds? I had an account with their sportsbook, but after a while ... ... there didn't seem much I could spend my balance on except poker.
Sharpe1ne
Re: When did you join Sporting Odds? :lol :lol :lol :lol Yes it does screw around some times. I remember when the Republic of Ireland played Suadi Arabia in the world cup and they were offering 8-1 for the Irish to win so i piled everything i had on it £10,000. Then the informed me by e-mail that the prices had been mixed up and would i still like to have my money on Ireland at 1-8. A Big no feckin way:spank
