Hi sorry not exactly poker related but I have withdrawn some money to a neteller account for the first time, can someone please tell me how long it should take to clear or hit the neteller account? I only ask as I have withdrawn from a poker account I never deposited to so was unsure if any delay was due to that or just usaul time it takes to clear. Thanks in advance.

Re: Neteller question? 7 days - if you went through the same crap I had to endure. I Joined Noble poker and as they wouldn't accept my Visa Debit card, they pursuaded me to join netteller. They took my money straight away and charged me for the privelige. Then when it came time to withdraw, Noble held onto "my" funds for 2 days, then neteller charged me again to issue a cheque. For a £20 deposit I was charged around £3.50 in total if I remember correctly. My profit for this time wasting service was £1.50. I still have £2 in my netteller "bank" but as they're going to charge me £2 to issue a cheque, and wait 7 days for it, I don't think I'll bother.

Re: Neteller question? 2 days from Noble but Neteller wouldn't put the money back onto my card they took it from. They HAD to issue a cheque and charge me for the privelidge. Oh and you'll have to phone them or email them to get enough "points" to withdraw money. IMO Neteller don't want you withdrawing any money. They want you to keep your money in "their" system whacking off a little each time you use their service. I can understand a company has to make money but neteller is a rip off and a hateful service to use. I asked about click2pay on another thread as absolute poker are giving away $10 free with no strings for any deposit made through this service. I never got a reply so I'll ask again.... Is click2pay a similar pain to use?

Re: Neteller question? Mate which site is it? Eurolinx transfer within hours, but Poker.com took a little longer. If you ring Neteller they will relax you (I was stressed 1st time too), and send you an e-mail as soon as it arrives in your account. I haven't been charged by Neteller any time I've had a transaction with them, and they will deposit direct to my bank account, the way I deposited with them.

Re: Neteller question? I dont recognise any of the problems you have had with neteller.. I have used them for almost 2 years now.. And havent had a single problem yet.. if i understand you right, you cant understand why neteller wont pay out your money to the account you used to deposit money to the poker site?? Is that correct?? Couse in that case, its not netellers problem what you have used elsewhere.. Neteller have a credit card option.. So you can withdraw money, in a local cash machine.. Of course they have some fees.. Ive paid a small fee for the cheque i got.. But thats it..

Re: Neteller question? I've only used neteller once - and my only time. I have a VISA DEBIT (not Credit) card. They took my money within seconds but when the time came to put the money back onto my card, they would only issue me with a cheque. I was that angry with the service, I put the whole story on another forum. I'll try and dig it up and reproduce it here.

Re: Neteller question? Sorry Guys.... Got my sites mixed up, it been months since I've used it..... Click2pay is the site I have gripes with.... My gripe is more to do with the rip off that is click2pay than Noble poker but as you will see they are both linked together in the same story.... I must admit, I join most poker sites to get there bonuses then move elsewhere. That way, I normally get my stake back + a little profit then I gamble with the rest. If I win, I take it. If I lose, I'm not fussed anyway as its free money. I joined Noble poker about 4 weeks ago and their offer was deposit £20 get $10 free + 100% match up (the match ups usually hard to achieve). When I went to register my card (a visa debit), Noble poker couldn't accept it and recommended I used one of their other methods - send a cheque, nettellor and click2pay. I opted for click2pay for no specific reason, registered my £20 with them and joined the poker site instantaneous. Nothing was untoward until I checked my online bank statement. Instead of £20 debited, there was £21.14 took out of my account. Now this isn't much and I understand the company has to make money so I wasn't too bothered by the small charge. I played the site and my required number of hands and had my balance up to £35. Great I thought, I'll lift £25 out and play with the winnings. I clicked on withdraw and the £25 was immediately taken away from my balance on Noble. I kept checking my balance on click2pay to see when the £25 went in. 2 day's I waited before I emailed noble to see where the money had went. "We keep your money in a holding account for 3 day's.... just in case you change your mind". True enough when I searched through noble I found a small icon saying holding account. After the 3 day's were up, true enough, the money left my noble poker account but it wasn't until 5 day's before it showed up on the click2pay account. Great, I thought, now all I have to do is transfer the money back onto my card. So I clicked on the withdraw funds option and straight away, I'm hit with the message, "You do not have a high enough star rating to withdraw funds. Please email support for more info." So I emailed support and fair play to them after a day, they got back to me, updating my star rating to 2 and now I could withdraw my money. Only I couldn't withdraw money. You see, while click2pay are happy to take money out of your debit card, they're not to happy to put it back in. Your then left with only one option and that is for them to issue a cheque...... But there are charges for a cheque. £2 to be precise and the wording of there terms are a bit ambiguous. I now have £25 in my click2pay account and a £2 charge to meet. But if I ask for a £25, will they add on the £2 on top of that? This would leave me minus £2 in their account, probably incur more charges and make them more money. No, I thought, I'll only ask for £23, that way if they do put the £2 on top, I won't go into minus figures. So I asked for the cheque to be issued for £23. 5 days later my cheque arrived. Not the £23 I had hoped for but for £21. To use noble poker had cost me £3.14 and while I made money on the poker, I gave it to click2pay in charges. I've still £2 in my click2pay account but as it will cost me £2 to issue a cheque, I don't think I'll claim it. I've also now over £10 in my noble poker account but I'm not going to bother exchanging it until I win something half decent. One final point to the affair. I'm with the halifax, they take 8 working days to clear a cheque. So overall, to get my winnings on Noble poker took 18 days, something most British poker sites pay almost instantaneous. Steer clear of ripof2pay.....

Re: Neteller question? The money will hit your Neteller account with 15 minutes, after the site send it. So the problem is with Dream, not with Neteller. That said, Neteller are a bit crap, they do charge quite a lot in fees, both fixed withdrawal fees, and more sneakily, transaction fees as a percentage of what you receive - which are very easy not to notice if you don't have an account in USD. They also charge fees in the other direction, when you deposit at a poker/casino site, but normally the site pays them. At the moment they've got a 4 working day lagtime before they remove UK bank transfers from your Neteller account, ie before they even initiate them, so you could be waiting a while before the money shows up in your bank account. Sadly Neteller is still the best option too, Click2Pay are SO much worse, it's unbelievable how bad they are. If Paypal hadn't withdrawn from online gaming there's no way any of these businesses would stay afloat. Click2Pay are in fact so bad that several UK banks automatically decline and refer transactions because of the amount of problems people have with them. But if the money's not in your Neteller account yet, the problem is with Dream not with Neteller (for now). :)
