BantamPort
Not sure how many students there are here, but I've received this Email from them The days are getting shorter, the air is getting crisper and freshers week is winding to an end. This can only mean one thing: It's that time of year again and the VC Student Poker Championships are back. So get your shades out, poker slang and chip tricks ready, and put on your master poker face; all the money and glory are up for grabs once again. Last Year over 4500 students from over 40 campuses competed for the grand prize and title of Champion. This year, with a prize pool of up to $50,000, it's anybody's game, for anybody to win; now will it be you or the next guy? Online qualifiers start this Monday - October 10th at 21:00GMT on www.vcstudentpoker.com and run every Monday until June. Each online qualifier has a $500 prize pool and a seat at the Grand Finals up for grabs. As well as online qualifiers, we're hosting live tournaments all over the UK and Ireland at a campus near you. Keep up to date with the latest additions on our tournament schedule or become a student brand manager and plan your own. It's absolutely free to enter, and open to all levels of players, so there's no reason not to play... and who knows, it could be more rewarding than you think.
