Carbutts Ridge won nicely off a mark of 48 last time out around here over CD, doesnt look the obvious sort to follow up under a hefty 7lb rise in the weights. Kemsing looks worth another chance he travelled fairly well into the race last time out on Tuesday over 7f. He was trapped fairly wide that day and got a torried journey in to the bend and got involved in a tight battle in the final furlong where unfortunately Shelley couldnt do much to get her whip in the correct hand due to how close they came together. He continued to run on and he still looks very well handicapped and travelled more than well enough to suggest he would get this extra furlong, only concern will be the 2 day break however did look to have the hardest race on Tuesday.

This is the outsider of the 9 runners, but loves heavy ground and has been eased a little by the handicapper. Tom Cannon is a jockey I have a lot of time for and he was on board this one when beaten 2 lengths off a 2lb higher mark which would see the horse go close here.
