Re: Betway Premier League Darts 2015 - Week 1 Week 1 previews: 4pts D.Chisnall to beat P.Wright 7/5 Unibet I like Chisnall in this match. Wright is probably the more solid of the two but the way Chisnall played at the weekend he has to be taken here, especially with his opponent here going through a phase where he is struggling to find the consistent heavy scoring. Chisnall looked so comfortable in Milton Keynes at the weekend and a repeat of that will surely be enough here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/chisnall-vs-wright-betting-dave-chisnall-s-scoring-power-can-be-too-much-for-wright 3pts R.Barneveld to beat A.Lewis 2/1 Ladbrokes I’m really not sure how Adrian Lewis could be an even money favourite for this match at any time when the draw is in play but particularly given recent tournaments. I know averages aren’t everything but they are an indication of how well a player’s all round game is and Lewis’ were quite poor at the weekend by his high standards. Barney’s scoring and finishing looks in good order and he has to be overpriced here. That was the night we saw Kim Huybrechts truly at his best but that is the rarity rather than the norm and I’m far from convinced he can repeat that on this big stage. In fairness to Kim he is 7-7 with the Dutch star but MVG is used to the bigtime glitz and glamour of this event and he should take this. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/huybrechts-vs-van-gerwen-betting-mvg-can-ruin-huybrechts-pl-debut 4pts G.Anderson to beat P.Taylor 6/4 William Hill This will be an interesting match. Both men were in form in the World Championship final and Anderson won and probably the scoreline flattered Taylor that night so based on that Taylor will need to improve a good deal to win this one. We saw no evidence that has happened at the weekend. Anderson wasn’t great at the weekend but he had an excuse whereas Taylor didn’t really have that. Other than motivation I’m not sure Taylor is any better here so Anderson has to be the call with the way he’s played of late. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/anderson-vs-taylor-betting-gary-anderson-can-follow-up-his-world-final-win 4pts S.Bunting to beat J.Wade 11/8 Stan James Since Stephen Bunting has moved to the PDC these two have met four times, three of them on TV, and Bunting has won all four times. I’m not convinced that is a co-incidence either. The one thing I can’t get out of my head is before their World Championship meeting Wade gave an interview where he said Bunting would outscore him but he would outfinish Bunting. That hasn’t been happening for a while now and I’m not convinced Wade appreciates quite how good Bunting is. He’s no slouch at finishing and the extra scoring power he has should see him comfortably to a double more often than Wade so I can only go with Bunting here.
