Doncaster 3:15 - Skybet Chase(HANDICAP) (Listed) (1) 3m Easter Day heads the market for the Paul Nicholls team after showing plenty of promise so far in the early stages of his chasing career. He has two wins over the fences so far, which includes a win over last years' RSA winner O'Faolain's Boy and although he was a beaten favourite last time out, Nicholls knows what it takes with these chasers. I am quite sweet on Night In Milan here though for the Reveley team. He can run both ways but I think if he tries to take an early lead on this sort of ground, with his very good jumping he can prove very hard to peg back. Course experience has to be an advantage and he looks well overpriced at 12/1 for me so I will have a small each-way. Re: National Hunt Racing > Saturday January 24th Cheltenham 3:35 - Galliardhomes.com Cleeve Hurdle(Grade 2) (1) 3m Saphir Du Rheu fell last time out at Kempton in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase which was won by the very impressive Coneygree, who went on to win the race by 40 lengths. Prior to that, the Paul Nicholls horse has hacked up at Exeter over 2m4f, beating Horizontal Speed by 11 lengths. The horse still has to prove that he stays 3 miles, especially with that tough hill finish at Cheltenham and on his only visit to the track in the past, he was tailed off in the Fred Winter. I am certainly looking to take him on and I have done so with Cole Harden who will love the tough finish over this trip at Cheltenham. He is an out and out stayer and should grab this lot at the death.
