The PL Genuine Information (Tips) Thread

CYRIL - 7.45 Leicester Had a little word for this horse today, unfortunately with 2 NR in the race it is only 2 places paid out and I was told to back each way. Staying on in his last race at 7f at the same track suggests the step up in trip will suit and should go very close. Will still be having a punt each way at 6/1

Re: The PL Genuine Information (Tips) Thread This is secondary information so I'm sceptical never mind you lot but thought I'd share anyway. Apparently Wigham's horse in the 8.45 at Chester tonight is ready to win - Happy Jack. I'm not mad on the form, the step up in trip or the fact it's not showing strength in the market (15/2 at the moment) but I've given it a chance and would feel bad for not sharing if he does go in! Pinch of salt required though.

Re: The PL Genuine Information (Tips) Thread

They expect a big run from Jonathon Wild in the Punchestown 3:40 tomorrow, currently 8/1. Minefield of a handicap, but I know a stablehand well and they have booked Ruby to ride. No win in 17, very limited stuff in the form book, but am told trip, ground and everything is perfect for him tomorrow and has no more excuses.
This one is out tomorrow over 2m 3f, ground good to yielding. http://www.irish-racing.com/cards/Limerick_Sat_6th_Jun_2015_6_50.html Any word?

Re: The PL Genuine Information (Tips) Thread 3.25 Musselburgh - Barnet Fair EW Been given this tonight. Will obviously require luck in running given its running style and the competitiveness of the field but connections fancy it to go close.

X Raise - Thirsk - 2.55 - 33/1 - Betfair Sportsbook - I have put this one up before and it has flopped, but it has since been discovered that the horse (along with others in the same stable) were suffering from lung issues which they think have now been resolved. Owners expecting a better run today may sneak into a place at a big price.

I've been given a tip for DOMINADA in the 1pm at Musselburgh today. Currently 6/5 best price, but I see it is now odds on in places. I managed to get heavily involved with the 2/1 on offer last night with Paddy Power.

Basically one of my mates stays down near Malton where Brian Ellison trains his horses. He has very good connections with the stable. He was told the other day that they have been desperate to run this over hurdles again after winning on the flat last time out and should win this race with plenty to spare. The point was also made that for this race it really should be carrying more weight, but because of the age allowance for 3 year olds this is not the case.

Owner and trainer expecting a good run from X Raise in the 7.50 at Wolves tonight. 2 starts ago they tried the application of cheek-pieces and adopting front running tactics. This seems to have resulted in an upturn in form. Should also help that this is a classified stakes race rather than a handicap as X Raise carried bottom weight due to her age. Currently 9/1. Good luck if getting on.

From the Racing Post

Cheekpieces have helped X RAISE come back to form here on her last two starts and she should make another bold bid. She just had the edge over the reliable Cahar Fad in a similar contest on the first of them and can confirm her superiority. Longstanding maiden Lions Charge ran well when second here last week and has claims if reproducing that effort, while this test will suit Zarliman better than that he has faced over hurdles of late.

Ta

Not sure i,m putting this in the proper place but a mod can move or delete if needed.

I like to follow Irish trained runners when they run outside Ireland especially on the flat and all weather it can prove profitable especially if you get on early as they tend to be backed a lot of the time here is a site for  that shows where, when and how they run for anyone who is interested.

A mate's relations own the horse Tongie who runs in the 4.35 at Gowran today and they rang up saying they fancy him. He doesn't exactly look well in off this mark but his 3rd in a handicap at Leopardstown over Christmas reads really well as several winners have come from that race and they have booked Ruby for the ride today. This race won't take much winning so I've taken a chance. 6/1 available on BetVictor. Skellig Rocks is the unexposed one and probably the big danger.
