Chepstow 2:35 - Coral Welsh Grand National(HANDICAP CHASE) (Grade 3) (1) 3m5f 110yds In what looks the usual lottery, Shotgun Paddy heads the betting for the Emma Lavelle team. The 7 year old loves it here at Chepstow, having won two of his three starts at the Welsh track. This is an easier assignment than the Grade 2 he contested at Newbury last time out when 5th behind the Alan King trained Medinas but for a horse that has to carry top weight in a handicap of this nature, he looks plenty short enough at around the 7/1 mark. I was torn between Hawkes Point and Mountainous but I have sided with the Richard Lee horse to win this race back to back for the first time since 1989. He has been kept very fresh for this and Paul Moloney takes the ride once more. Re: National Hunt Racing > Saturday December 27th Chepstow 2:35 - Coral Welsh Grand National(HANDICAP CHASE) (Grade 3) (1) 3m5f 110yds Does look like stick a pin in it and hope for the best sort of race but ill go small e/w on one of the rags SUMMERY JUSTICE available at 50's from a yard i like this horse has a squeak imo the heavy ground wont be a problem hasn't won over this far but ran ok over it and because of the price with 4 place up for grabs and stable mate a lot shorter which i don't really no why on form i'm happy to part with some of my hard earned on this horse.
