NFL Points Differential

Hi all, I'm planning to kick off a paper trail of a system for betting on the NFL. The system is called 'point differential', and it looks at the strength of schedule of teams played for each match up, in an attempt to forecast a point spread. For example, a team who is averaging 20 points scored per game vs opponents who, on average, are only conceding 15 points per game, would be expected to have a pretty good offence, and so would score a great deal more than just 20 points vs a team who's defence concedes 20 points per game vs opponents who are only scoring on average 10 points per game. Probably not the best explanation, but a quick google search will throw up more info if you want it. All odds are from Betfair Onto Week 8 picks then: Ravens (@ Bengals) -1.5, 1.88 Bills (@ Jets) +3, 1.84 Vikings (@ Buccaneers) +2.5, 1.95 Colts (@ Steelers) -3.5, 1.99
