I joined this forum many moons ago but never really contributed to it, just used to browse. Now I run a business from home I have a bit more time on my hands, so I fancied a crack at a glory hunt before the new football season starts. I’ve been gambling on football for 16 years and my selections here will sometimes be subjective and sometimes they will have met a certain criteria. Recent form, H2H stats, team news and price are the components of my decision making. I will be starting with a £100 bank and I will be betting with real money. All my selections will be placed in my Betfair account. So if I bet £10 @ 1.3 the profit will be £2.85 after Betfair commission. The stakes will be placed in two different ways 1) Fixed stakes of £5 or £10 on each selection. 2) Progressive Stakes – Bet 1 £10.00 @ 1.3 = £12.85 – Bet 2 £12.85 @ 1.3 = £16.52 – Bet 3 £16.52 @ 1.3 = £21.48 Profits will be banked after bet number 3 (This was inspired by JTW1’s single life system – cheers JT) The bets placed will be Match Odds, Draw No Bets or Asian Handicaps. I may venture into the odd over/under bet as well. I will be posting around half a dozen selections a week maybe more once the season gets under way.
