Ok, some of you may remember me tipping Swansea Bay for the Hennessy. He put in an inexplicably bad performance that day, and has followed that up with 2 ordinary runs at Cheltenham. I'm not bothered by those runs as it seems as if he wants a shorter trip these days, and he hates the undulating nature of Cheltenham. Undulating Tracks (chases) : 8464670 (0-7) Flat Tracks (chases) : 21111116P111171268 (11-18) If you look only at his record on left handed flat tracks we get. Left Handed Flat Tracks (chases) : 211111118 (7-9) Now I'm not going to claim that Swansea Bay is at his best, but if this return to perfect conditions can re-invigorate him then the big prices are going to look very silly indeed.
