kevshat
Re: Premier League - Week 8 Week 8 previews: 4pts G.Anderson (-2.5 legs) to beat W.Newton 6/5 Bet365 Gary Anderson is in excellent form at the minute and while he was edged out by MVG last week he should have got a draw but he showed good resilience with his win at the weekend and I expect the Scot to do the business here. We shouldn’t look too much into the fact Wes has suffered back to back 7-1 defeats coming into this match because he has run into a couple of trains but he might just walk into another here. Chisnall actually has a very good record against Lewis which is a surprise and that’s something Lewis will have to sort out here. Although it is obvious I think the best bet comes with the 180 markets. These two are the best 180 scorers in the game today and in what should be a close match I would expect to see a fair few here. He’s won four of the last five meetings between these two and Whitlock looks a pale shadow of the man who made the World Championship semi final at the end of last year. His last two averages have been under 91 in the Premier League and that gets you nothing at this level. Wes isn’t playing a Taylor or a van Gerwen here and so he can pick up a vital two points in this one. Given the pressure on both though I’ll play safe and take the Englishman on the draw no bet market. Both have their own motivation in this match. Wright will want to get revenge for losing in the world final while MVG will want to prove he was a worthy winner in that tournament but I sense the way they are playing that this could be quite tight. A draw isn’t a bad result for either and it is worth taking here. You have to question whether Barneveld would have beaten Taylor anyway but you have to fear for the Dutchman with the great one having a point to prove and being out to prove everyone wrong. The days where I can back Barney to beat Taylor are long gone away but I really fancy Taylor here.
