They opened their new poker room on Monday night and it turned out to be pretty popular. I arrived at 6.30 (a good 2 hours before the tourney started) and found that it had already sold out :\ ! There was a queue of 50 people outside at 6pm waiting to register, it took just 15 minutes for the 100 seats to be filled. I ended up playing at the local grosvenor casino instead where nearly all of the latecomers ended up. Anyway, i registered for the Thursday tournament £10 pl so i'm off there tonight. I will post up my opinions of the casino, tournament structure, cash games, dealers, standard of play and anything else that might be of interest. Here are a few basic details; Tournament Nights Monday £10 PL Thursday £10 PL Friday £20 NL Rebuys Each night for 1h 30min Start time 8:30pm Capacity 100 players General Info It is a new, modern casino with an excellent restaurant upstairs as part of the casino. Dealers are provided for all poker games and there is no smoking in the card room at the tables.
