Re: Boxing - Mar 1-2 Saturday previews: 4pts T.Crawford to win on points 7/4 Betfred Ricky Burns will have bags of support behind him in this fight but I think his world title reign will come to an end here. It should have come to an end last time out when Beltran was on the wrong end of a rotten decision but lightning won’t strike twice. I expect Crawford’s power and reach advantage to be the key thing in this fight and while I don’t think Burns will be stopped – he doesn’t know when he’s beaten after all – I don’t expect him to be bailed out by the judges this time. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/burns-vs-crawford-betting-crawford-can-outpoint-burns-to-win-world-title 3pts J.DeGale to win in rounds 7-12 2/1 Ladbrokes DeGale has been well matched here and now the time has come to really put on a show and propel himself forward for world title honours. He’ll know Froch and Groves are fighting again in the summer so he should have plenty of motivation to get in the title mix as he could potentially face the winner down the line. I think we’ll see a good performance out of Chunky but he often takes a few rounds to warm to the contest and so I fancy him to come through this in the second half of the fight. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/degale-vs-khatchikian-betting-james-degale-can-pick-up-a-second-half-win 4pts R.Stieglitz to win by stoppage 15/8 Paddy Power This will be the third time these two have fought. Their head to head stands at 1-1 with Abraham winning a unanimous decision before being battered by Stieglitz in their second fight. I think Stieglitz will confirm that win here. Abraham is getting no younger and Stieglitz is a pressure fighter who can get on top of his foe early and keep punishing him throughout the entire contest before forcing a late stoppage. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/stieglitz-vs-abraham-betting-robert-stieglitz-can-stop-german-rival-again 4pts V.Lomachenko to win by stoppage 11/8 Betfred I think Lomachenko will win this fight. It is crazy to think someone could be a world champion in their second professional fight but he’s that good. He has sensational speed and power to match and given that Salido has already been stopped five times and was down no fewer than three times a couple of fights ago I don’t see how the Mexican goes the full 12 rounds with the talented Ukrainian here.
