Hello all, I did a similar thread last year, but hit a terrible patch of form and lost my confidence and mojo. However, I'm back for 2014 and am refreshed and ready to go again. I say refreshed, I'm now a dad, so am more tired than I've ever been but it's brilliant fun and so far, it has meant that I use my time smarter - so rather than dicking about on the internet all evening, I sort the wee man out, do all my chores and then spend a quality hour online (that's not a euphemism by the way either)! All my bets are with Betvictor and are BOG. I know this is bad form but I'm someone who likes the easy life and for things to be I can't be doing with having loads of accounts dotted around. I will take the best price available if I stick it up in BBOTD, though. Since I started last years thread my 'race reading' has changed a bit, and now try to look at different angles, rather than just methodically assessing each horse's fom. I think I will also be striking more each way bets as 'little and often' suits my mentality. As before, this thread will contain all my horse racing bets (including the odd placepot). There'll be no side bets - my entire horse racing betting year in the one thread. I will be using a real bank where 1pt = £5. Starting bank is 20pts/£100 - I know this is light so if I have to reboot then I will.
