5.20 - Wolverhampton - Fieldgunner Kirkup @ 10/1 Bet365 Giving this one another chance as he was badly hampered when one of the runners saddled slipped along way from home and it effectively ended his chances of winning. The fact he was only beaten by 5L and wasn't given a hard time suggests he handled the polytrack on his first start on the surface and if he has abit more luck tomorrow i expect him to run well. Heres what i wrote last week. Tomorrows race is over the same C&D

4.30 - Wolverhampton - Fieldgunner Kirkup @ 10/1 Betvictor I think this is a fairly generous price for a horse back down below his last winning mark. Fieldgunner Kirkup hasn't been in the best of form since winning on turf in April but he's starting to slip down to a tempting mark. He was well backed last time out after a fair run at Newcastle the time before and I think he'll pick up another race before long. Graham Gibbons rides and he has won aboard the horse 4 times and obviously has a good record for this trainer. He makes his AW debut which doesn't worry me as the sire stats are positive enough and the yard have a super record here (7 from 19 in the last year), David Barron is in tremendous form despite not having many runners at this time of year (4 of his last 7 runners have won) and I feel he has another good chance here. A 62 day break should have freshened him up and he goes well fresh with form figures of 1-2-4-2 after a lay off of this length or longer.

Re: Flat Racing Tuesday 26th November Wolverhampton 5:20 Feature race at Wolver is a very decent flat contest tomorrow on a rather poor day of racing. This is a trappy affair, many with chances, but I like the chances of the Kristin Stubbs trained Bogsnog who has a very useful 5 pound claimer on board, Jacob Butterfield. This gelding finished 3rd over course and distance behind Jay Bee Blue last time out only around a length behind and runs off the same mark tomorrow. He beat Orpsie Boy over course and distance two runs back and Orpsie Boy has since come out and won. The run before that he finished 2nd here over 6f behind Fat Gary, and Fat Gary has since gone on to land a hat-trick in easy style since so the form looks pretty useful and he should be bang there come the line. Bogsnog WIN @ 6/1 Bet365
