I’ve been championing Wright’s talents for a good while now and he’s finally beginning to deliver. He was a semi finalist in the UK Open at the start of the month and he won a Players Championship tournament last weekend beating Gary Anderson 6-0 on the way to beating Wes Newton 6-1 in the final. He averaged just under 120 in that match against Anderson so you better believe Snakebite is playing well at the minute. There isn’t a single top eight player in Wright’s way until the semi final so if he has last weekend’s form with him in Gibraltar this weekend he could make a mockery of his 33/1 price.
