Re: Premier League 2013 - Week 13 Week 13 previews: 4pts M.van Gerwen vs A.Hamilton - Over 5.5 180's 5/6 Ladbrokes I would expect Michael van Gerwen to win this match but with the pressure off Hamilton now we might just see the best of him so I would rather concentrate on the 180’s here rather than the match. Hamilton is a heavy hitter of 180’s while nobody has more in the tournament than van Gerwen so the 5.5 180’s line looks a little low. There were 7 in their first meeting which ended 7-2, this game could be closer so the potential is there for this line to be covered. One of Whitlock’s few wins in the earlier part of the Premier League when he wasn’t playing well came against Wade and another one can come here in a must win match for the Australian. Wade’s scoring has dipped off to an alarming degree in recent weeks and if he doesn’t find it again he’ll lose heavily. Just in case he does and as there will be a few nerves around I’ll play safe and take Whitlock but on the draw no bet market. One thing I do think we’ll see are 180’s. We saw 7 when the two met in the reverse fixture this season and Taylor is playing a lot better now. He hit 5 180’s in two matches last week which is a lot for Taylor and if he wants to do a job on Thornton here we might see him hit more this week. Thornton will hit some so this over 5.5 180’s line looks low. There have been one or two signs in the last week or two that Lewis’ game might just be coming back and a run to the semi final of a UK Open tournament at the weekend will have done him no harm. Lewis is playing with no pressure on him now and if he can hit his doubles in this match, which a few wins on Sunday should have given him the confidence to do, he might just cause an upset here. That’s understandable as it is hard to get back up for playing again. With that in mind I like under 5.5 180’s here. Wade doesn’t hit too many anyway and Hamilton is likely to be a bit flat so the line looks a notch high.
