Re: Premier League 2013 - Week 8 Week eight previews: 3pts A.Hamilton to beat A.Lewis (DNB) 21/20 Boylesports There’s no reason why this won’t be a close match but on consistency alone I think Andy Hamilton shouldn’t be the outsider that he is here. Hamilton has scored very consistently recently and his finishing has been good all season. Lewis is playing under real pressure and that’s not always easy and he’s not exactly Mr Popular in Glasgow either! I think there’s enough to warrant a draw no bet punt on the Hammer here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/lewis-vs-hamilton-betting-andy-hamilton-can-put-adrian-lewis-in-real-relegation-trouble-20130327 4pts R.Thornton to beat S.Whitlock (DNB) 21/20 Boylesports Robert Thornton would be tough to beat at the best of times with the way he has played in this tournament so far but that is magnified when you factor in the Scottish crowd who are sure to get right behind Thornton and maybe put Whitlock off a bit. Thornton can play with freedom here as he can’t be relegated while Whitlock knows he needs something from this game. I’m not convinced Whitlock’s wish will come true though. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/whitlock-vs-thornton-betting-robert-thornton-can-use-the-scottish-crowd-to-his-advantage-in-glasgow-20130327 3pts R.Barneveld to beat P.Taylor (DNB) 2/1 Coral I truly believe this match is all about Barneveld’s mind. If he believes he can beat Taylor from the start there is every chance he will do. The darts he threw to come back at Taylor in their World Championship semi final shows Barneveld has the beating of the great one but they came too late. If he gets going from the first dart then with Taylor nowhere near his best so far in this event the Dutchman would have every chance. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/taylor-vs-barneveld-betting-raymond-barneveld-might-just-be-getting-taylor-at-the-right-time-20130327 5pts G.Anderson to beat W.Newton 10/11 Stan James This really is must win for Wes Newton. He won’t have it easy though because Gary Anderson has played well over the last three weeks. He could do nothing about the demolition he walked into against Michael van Gerwen last week but before that he beat Phil Taylor and could’ve beaten Adrian Lewis. That’s good form and when you factor in the partisan Scottish crowd behind Anderson in this match too it all points to a win for the local boy. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/anderson-vs-newton-betting-gary-anderson-can-give-his-survival-hopes-a-real-boost-by-beating-newton-20130327 4pts J.Wade (+2.5 legs) to beat M.van Gerwen 10/11 William Hill I think this match will be very close. Wade’s record against Michael van Gerwen isn’t a fluke and it isn’t a record where you can say Michael van Gerwen is a different player now because three of their meetings have been in the last 9 months and Wade has won 2 of them including their meeting in Minehead earlier in the month while MVG was in his good patch. Whether Wade will win I’m not sure but he’s good enough to force a deciding leg at worst.
