Re: Premier League 2013 - Week 7 Week seven previews: 3pts A.Hamilton to beat S.Whitlock (DNB) 6/5 Bet365 This should be a close match. Most matches between these two on TV are but I think Andy Hamilton is scoring the heavier at the minute and I give him the edge on that alone here. Hamilton is hitting the 180’s more regularly now and when he scores heavily he is hard to beat because he generally finishes so well. This one won’t be won easily though so I’ll take a little bit of cover and take the Hammer on the draw no bet market. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/hamilton-vs-whitlock-betting-andy-hamilton-s-scoring-power-can-see-him-edge-out-whitlock-in-cardiff-20130320 4pts G.Anderson vs M.van Gerwen - Over 6.5 180's 5/6 Boylesports This match is fairly easy to predict in terms of what it will contain if not the actual winner. It will contain a number of missed doubles and plenty of 180’s and while you would expect Michael van Gerwen to win this match if the true Gary Anderson turns up it won’t be as simple as that so there’s no value in MVG here. Instead the value lies in the 180’s where two of the heaviest scorers in the game can cover a 6.5 180’s line in this match. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/anderson-vs-van-gerwen-betting-expect-to-see-the-180-s-flow-between-these-two-in-cardiff-20130320 4pts R.Thornton to beat A.Lewis (DNB) Evs Ladbrokes Robert Thornton is in cracking form right now, so much so that it is actually a surprise that he is the outsider in this match. Adrian Lewis beat Michael van Gerwen a couple of weeks ago but MVG missed a few doubles to let him in on that occasion. The way Thornton is scoring you feel he’ll have to miss some doubles to let Lewis in and I’m not convinced that will happen. I like the Scot in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/thornton-vs-lewis-betting-robert-thornton-can-continue-his-good-form-with-win-over-lewis-20130320 4pts P.Taylor Under 2.5 180s vs W.Newton 5/6 Boylesports Not since the first week of the tournament has Phil Taylor hit more than 2 180’s and I’m not convinced he’ll hit any more in this match for two reasons. One, he always switches with the lie isn’t perfect, and two, the match may not last long enough for him to hit more than two 180’s as if Taylor is on his game then he should win this going away. To me the 5/6 he hits under 2.5 180’s looks a good thing. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/newton-vs-taylor-betting-don-t-expect-to-see-too-many-180-s-from-taylor-in-cardiff-20130320 4pts J.Wade vs R.Barneveld - Over 5.5 180's 5/6 Blue Square This promises to be the match of the night and I think it will be close throughout. Both men are playing lovely darts and if there is to be a loser it will be the odd missed double at the wrong time which will cost them. I can’t pick the winner but with Wade scoring nicely again I do think we’ll see some 180’s. Barney’s darts can’t leave the red bit at the minute but with Wade contributing to the 180’s total too I think the 5.5 line is too low.
